Walmart Pharmacy at 2677 Roosevelt Boulevard, Clearwater, Florida.

New to the area and new to my insurance and procedures. Approached the counter and asked the pharmacist working how I complete a transaction and he (Mike) tells me that first, it's not his area of knowledge and second (in a smug condescending tone) does know you cannot just pick up anything you want JUST to have your insurance cover it for free. I stood there slightly stunned at his audacity to insinuate I was getting items not needed just to get them for "free" when not knowing me or my story couldn't be farther from the truth. I had selected my items VERY carefully to ensure not only myself but also my partner and daughter had ITEMS we needed for basic health, not these overly "extravagant" items just to fill a ticket. It took all I had not to go up one side and down the other and tell that smug a**hole that not everyone who comes in with assisted insurance is a dirtbag looking for a handout, but actually may be a family in hard times trying to rebuild and get back on their feet and doing the best they can. But to make an instant judgement is both sorely unprofessional and to be treated as trash because of the insurance I carry is disrespectful. Be grateful Mike for what you have, we aren't all as lucky to have your security but clearly money doesn't buy class or manners. I'm grateful everyday for those.
