I have just experienced a unique allergic reaction to a medicine to subside/ harness my 15+ years of an off and on heavy menses. It's not a situation or allergy someone could have predicted and to NO fault of the wonderful doctors at Tampa Bay Womens Care. Patients assume a certain amount of risk with any new medicine they ingest. Dr. Kant was wonderful with tackeling this nightmare, quick to schedule the follow up. Not only was she compassionate to the brim she moved swiftly to schedule a endometrial biopsy, I was called after the procedure to see if I was doing well and not experiencing any any problems. I started the new medicine on 9/1, symptoms of the allergic reaction happened shortly after the 2nd to 3rd dose and the on call physician was FAST in my after hours call to help me with this strange reaction. Dr. McCance called me back within 15 minutes and called in the relief I was in need of at 200% speed. Thank you. From every ounce of what I have left of me....God bless all of you.
